--------------------------------

TASK 4 - Read through the brief and select ONE... write a short paragraph as why you chose it.  Make sure you include the following information in your explanation as well:
- What skills do you already have that can help you produce your chosen media texts?
- What skills do you intend to develop whilst working on your media texts?

Be specific about the skills - don't just write "Photoshop skills", make reference to specific skills from Photoshop that you either know or want to develop.

---------------------------------

TASK 5 - Create a mind map of ideas for both products in your chosen brief.  You may use popplet, padlet or other technology to record this.

---------------------------------

TASK 6 - Statement of Intent.
For this task you need to start preparing what to write in your Statement of Intent.  This is a very important document

The Statement of Intent needs to outline the ways in which the learner proposes to use the key areas of the media theoretical framework to communicate meaning and meet the requirements of their chosen brief, set by OCR:

- Media language: how the media communicate meanings through their forms, codes and conventions.
- Media representations: how the media portray events, issues, individuals and social groups.
- Media audiences: how media audiences are identified and targeted.

Learners must complete the Statement of Intent document using approximately 300 words using the provided template (click here for template).
